I know a lot of you are going to look at this title and go “oookkaaaaay bestie you know we already know you right?” 

And to that I say,

This post is for all the friends I have yet to met, and to them I say

HEY BESTIE HOW’S IT GOING?!?!

If you don’t already know me- Hi! My name is Kira and I am a wedding photographer serving Southern California and Boulder, Colorado! I am a child of God, Swiftie, avid thrifter, your new favorite hype women, and was born with a gene that has me convinced I can do just about anything (some call this the delulu, I call it overly confident LOL)

I have always known that I was going to do something creative with my life. As long as I can remember I’ve made little crafts, learned to bake, learned to sew, learned to crochet, made collages, etc you name it I’ve probably tried it at least once (even glass blowing at one point). When I was 17 I picked up my dads camera and started doing photography because I wanted to be cool, and figured doing photography was the way to get there. By the time I was 20 it had gotten to the point where I realized photography was: 

1. All I was good at 
2. All I wanted to do 

 Since then I poured my all into photography and creating the best experience for my clients that I can. I truly consider it to be such a gift and blessing that this is what I get to do with my life.  

My speciality is in intimate weddings where the priority is centered around you and the love of your life coming together as one. My favorite weddings that I have ever shot have been in childhood backyards or on grandparents properties where they rent a tent and dance the night away under the stars. Many clients choose to book me for a FULL WEEKEND of coverage too which is the most specific because it means that I get to photograph every intimate detail of a couples wedding, from the rehearsal dinner to the wedding itself to a cute little day after session. 

My priority on a wedding is that you feel seen and heard and supported from the moment you inquired to years after gallery delivery. I’m not just a photographer who shows up and then leaves when the party’s over and you never hear from me again. I’m the one who is going to be commenting on your instagram posts two years from now with a “OKAY POP OFF QUEEN” with a few heart eye emojis!

To me- you’re not just a client and I am not just a vendor. It is deeper than that. It is a relationship built on trust and a desire to create art that represents who you are and isn’t just some copy and paste version of someone else’s photos. It is about your story.

So if you love chai lattes, blasting sad Taylor Swift songs at full volume, wearing all thrifted outfits, and going for runs and complaining about it the whole time… you’re in the right place my friend! Lets be friends ‘kay?!?!?
